The ARL's biggest horse event of the year

Since 1926, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa has helped more than 1 million pets in need — from horses to hamsters. In 2015, we started our Second Chance Ranch program for horses and other barn animals on the ARL’s Main campus, and after 10 years of saving lives, our facilities needed to expand. Now, the Kruidenier Second Chance Ranch sits one mile east of our Main campus and can house dozens of horses, donkeys, ducks, chickens, barn cats, and more.
